Each year the Santas Workshop was about more than your average grotto experience, it was about a journey, an experience that put the children at the heart of the adventure. Children would go to a holding room and build a toy, a toy that fits the story of the season. they would progress to the workshop and meet Santa who would read them the tale of that season. they would get given the tale, and the soft toy they have made in the precious room- and be able to see the show live on stage.
During the COVID time, there was a demand for entertainment, but a harsh guideline on what was allowed. I had created an experience that brought the entertainment to the accommodation and put the onus on the families to create the magic themselves, under guidance of the Elf Delivery performance and the video activated by the QR code. A gingerbread offering made locally in Pembrokeshire helped support local business and provide a fun session for our guests to still enjoy..
Set in the snow covered Serendome families could build their very own magical snow globe, in an interactive Christmas workshop with the elves.
Families got to take home a wonderful sense of togetherness and memory that could take pride of place at home, or amongst the Christmas tree.
Guests missed the ability to build and play with the Elves in a workshop format so there was a demand to create an activity allowing this. An activity built around play, creation and imagination- the lives facilitated an adventure where children got to earn their toymakers medal. Building many a thing, including a fish design that was scanned into a digital fish tank, one being a wooden elf handmade here in Wales. Placing this toy into the machine, if it was upto code the child would earn their reward!
Callling all buccaneers for a pirate adventure like no other! in line with our Treasure Islands Pirate Circus show, the children get a chance to put their skills to the test and see If they have what it takes. Map reading, treasure hunting and cardboard creations.
In line with the Pumpkin Lab Show, the children could join the members of the cast for a secret class in the science behind the show experiments. A real hands on experience, the children got to dress in the branded lab coats and adorn the scientific goggles. Family fun filled experiments creating slime, chasing colour and making smubbles. A session guaranteed to bring the family together and learn the science behind the show.
A magical story time experience filled with puppetry, play and sensory delight. Based on the illumination trail of the season, Mrs Wonder told the tale of how the light experience was created and the elements the children could come to witness. An activity that triggered and stimulated all the senses, getting the guests involved in telling the tale and working together.
